Charity Music Helps Haiti
The single everybody hurts was out on February 8th and features many, many artists that have gotten together to record the song for this very tragic incident that occurred. Why is this important?
The Earthquake
It reached a massive 7.0 on the scale and it was very unfortunate that the earquake hit right next to the town of Leogane. By the 24th of January the place had suffered over 50 after shocks and these are the ones measuring 4.5 or above. Three million people have been affected by the quake and 200,000 people are confirmed to be dead with many more hundreds of thousands lost and injured. 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings have collapsed or have been severely damaged.
The world can really get together when it comes to things such as this. Many millions have been sent by countries from all over the world to help out these people and many more millions are set to be sent across.
The Song
