Hip Hop Artist – Reality About Hip Hop Words

Tags: ,

Do you wish to be able to write hip hop lyrics for your favorite Hip hop artist? Are you a big fan of hip hop music business? Would it be an aspiration come true for your favorite hip hop artist to sing your song? Hip hop music was created in the 1970s at the Bronx in New York City.  Among the listeners and songwriter were African and Latin American. In the worlds of rap and hip hop, there are 2 big elements to deal with when writing a song. First, your music has to be snappy with a driving hook and original sounds, which is not a simple thing for many people to do. Second, your lyrics need to flow well, be illustrative and concise at the same time and be just as catchy as the music. It’s difficult, but it’s not impossible.

The lyrics or words of a song are very important to hip hop artists. The lyrics deliver the information of your song, storytelling, or entertainment. The words are what your followers will sing along to whenever your song is on the radio. While it is feasible to write lyrics that do not make much sense and still write a snappy tune, the chances of this are slim. Singing along with the song is what many individuals enjoy doing, and finding lyrics they think are written specifically for them is part of the magic.

First you have to choose which type of hip hop song you want to write about.  Many songwriters enjoy playing it safe and go with the latest beat. So, you have to focus and think about what you want, which kind of songs do you want your audience to listen to and what age range are your audience.   In case you are stuck in a rut, listen to a hip hop song for a source of inspiration. Brainstorm ideas if you can’t think of a topic. Anything can inspire a lyric, like a line from a book, a magazine article or even another song. Open your ears to all of the feasible sources of inspiration around you. Bear in mind, you can attempt to capture a particular feeling through lyrics.

Start your song with an interesting line. The first line in your song is critical to connecting your listener. Take into account the first line from of your favorite hip hop song. Use words such as this to draw the listener into the song, and to establish atmosphere. Introduce any character or story as clearly as possible with the first line if your song requires the type of a story. Always, always follow through with lyrics that develop your story. The overall tone or mood of the song can be transported through words of a particular affect.

Perform the lyrics to yourself, if you can imagine your preferred hip hop artist singing your song.  Then start adding the rhyme, rhythm and beats.  Rhyming is a great convention in hip hop music, but it should never restrict your message. There are tons of corny rhymes around because individuals won’t let go of the typical rhyme scheme. Try sounding cool and rhyming something with the word “orange.” Like your favourite rap artist, it’s impossible.
