The invention of the van is a lot more important than people first think. The van is used for a lot of different reasons, keeping goods cold, keeping tools safe and transporting goods are just some of them. What is it that these people would do without the vans?

There are many delivery firms such as UPS and Parcel Force and even the Royal Mail would find it tough. Without the red vans you would never get your mail and that is saying something as half of the time you do not recieve it now? They wouldnt be able to deliver a thing. UPS and Parcel Force would be non existent as they specialize in the larger packages and without their vans it would become very difficult to deliver such things.

Would Music Stop?

Well it wouldn’t be an end to music all together but we would see a huge drop in artists simply because the van is the cheapest and easiest way for beginner bands to transport their band equipment to the various locations that they need to be at.

The Positive Side??

Many criminals choose to use the van in various crimes such as theft, kidnapping and abduction. Would this really make a lot of difference to the crimes that are committed?

Of course the obvious answer to all of this is, why not just drive a lorry? The main thing is that you actually need to take a seperate test to be able to drive one which will cost a lot for a company to train and also is a big time issue. On top of all of this there are many roads in which lorries can not fit down which is one of the many reasons the van came into existance.

Conclusion

Well it is obvious that without the invention of the van some people would be well and truly stuffed.
