The Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR is a great looking and sounding guitar packed with features.

This is the first Schecter guitar to feature the EMG active 81TW and 89 humbuckers and they really deliver that crushing metal tone you’re after.  Slayer, Metallica, Zack Wylde, Deftones, Sepultura, Rammstein all use these pickups.

The Original Floyd Rose Tremolo system is featured by Schecter on the The Hellraiser C-1 FR.  The Original tremolo is famous for its ability to keep the strings in tune even with extreme changes in pitch, so you can play hard and the tuning will stay stable.  The strings will stay in tune no matter how much you bend them.  You wont be breaking strings with this guitar.

The Hellraiser C-1 FR features a 25 1/2″ arched ‘classic’ mahogany body with an ultra-access cutaway that makes it an absolute breeze to get all the way up to the upper frets.  And the 3-piece mahogany neck has 24 xtra-jumbo frets of pure shredding glory.

The finish is flawless.  Its really obvious as soon as you pick up this guitar.  Schecter really didn’t skimp on anything.  The Black Cherry version pictured above has a beautiful flamed maple top and the abalone bindings really make the finish stand out.  The mother of pearl gothic dagger inlays give it a fantastic dark, sinister edge and Schecter uses Grover tuners and black chrome hardware to round out the Hellraiser C-1 FR’s killer look.  Your friends will be struck with awe when they see it for the first time.  This guitar is a beautiful work of art and is truly worthy of the main stage.

As far as flexibility, this guitar can be used in any band.  The fullest cleans off the bridge, amazingly punchy rich deep sounds off the neck, devastating distortion, blues, rock, metal, this guitar does it all in spades.  The EMG’s are set up so that any sound is attainable with the right pickup selection.  You will unlikely ever play a guitar you like better than this.

The action of the Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR is extremely low and completely without fret buzz.  Straight out of the box it plays like a dream, studio ready and stage-ready.

Value for your money is exceptional, it plays, looks, and feels like no other guitar in its price range.  Schecter really seem to care about quality instruments and exeptional prices.  Looking at ESPs, Jackons, Ibanezs, all the typical metal guitars, this one has all the features at a price you just can’t beat.  Is this the best metal guitar ever?
