Wireless Is The Better Option For Speakers
Using indoor outdoor wireless speakers for use with any stereo or surround sound system can be very convenient to prevent your house or backyard from becoming infested with speaker wire. Not everyone is a professional at running or concealing speaker wire. Wireless speakers make it possible for non experts or for those pros that simply do not want to be hassled to still enjoy the benefits of having a speaker system. Easy installation and aesthetics do not even cause an increase in price, in general these speakers are the same price as standard speakers. Choosing to move from wired to wireless is a decision that is not hard to make.
The installation of the wireless speaker system is extremely simpler by comparison. Without wires there is no need to pull up carpet or cut drywall. This is with the assumption that these are even options. In some cases there is simply no way to conceal the wires in which case you are left with an ugly eyesore of a speaker system which may very well outweigh the benefits of having one in the first place. The farther the distance of the speakers from the source the worse the process of working with the wires.
Setting up an indoor outdoor wireless speaker is easy not only because there are no wires, but because it is not alternatively technically complex. The speakers will come with a transmitting device which is simply connected to the output of the stereo. The speakers themselves have the option of battery power or AC power usually.
The much easier installation and the more aesthetic appeal to indoor outdoor wireless speakers would lead to the assumption that these speakers are much more expensive than standard ones. However, this is not the case. Depending on the brand of the speakers and the range they can transmit, wireless speakers can cost anywhere from between $40 all the way up to $300 and even higher. Most speakers will have a range of about 150 feet so you do not have to worry about getting a range of only 5 feet for the less expensive speakers.
Be sure though that when dealing with wireless speakers, if you are using batteries not to leave them in permanently. Batteries can damage your speakers if left in. Additionally the life of the batteries will usually be limited to within 5-10 hours. This, however, only applies when you are not using the speakers through AC power.
Switching over to indoor outdoor wireless speakers is the obvious choice to make for anyone with a stereo or surround sound system. It is more convenient, not any more expensive, and much more appealing to the eye. An indoor outdoor wireless speaker as compared to the soon-to-be obsolete alternative is an upgrade with almost exclusively benefits and no shortcomings.
